The Samohi Class of 1958 50-Year Reunion is now history. It was a smash hit! What a weekend! There’s no doubt that this was, by far, the best reunion our class ever had. The members of the committee thank all of you who were there for coming. Your enthusiasm and kind words made all of the work over the last year and a half well worth it. We also thank our spouses and significant others for their patience and their help. Classmates came from all over the country and from as far away as Greece. There were more than one hundred people at the Friday night “meet and greet” at Mariasol’s on the end of our very familiar Santa Monica Pier. And there were close to 250 people at the Saturday night dinner party at the FantaSea Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey. The weekend went pretty smoothly, but there were some glitches. The Friday night crowd was much larger than expected, but we think that it made for a livelier evening. We had to scramble for some extra place settings on Saturday night and we apologize to the people who ended up eating at the registration table. We also apologize to those of you who thought the music was too loud. Please enjoy browsing through the updated pages. We welcome your comments, especially suggestions for corrections or additions of names on photos. We intend to maintain this web site for an indefinite period of time for your enjoyment.
